Namibian rugs

These 2 handwoven, pure wool, reversible rugs are from Namibia. They are stain resistant and hard wearing. They are from a farm where they have their own sheep, harvest/spin/dye the wool, and design/weave the rugs.There's an interesting story behind them. The farm was going under, but the owners hated to sell it and let the workers go. They all met together and came up with the idea of raising sheep and making the rugs. It has gone well and managed to provide for owners and workers. A wonderful story!I have cards that show a photo and tell who wove each one of them.They are all in excellent condition/like new - have been in guest flat bedroom, light use.. Selling them for R400 each. They are 70 cm x 122 cm.
